Process To create Client Id and Secret

Step-by-Step Guide to Regenerate Client Secret

1. Log in to the Azure Portal:

   • Go to Azure Portal and sign in with your account.

2. Navigate to Azure Active Directory:

   • In the left sidebar, select Azure Active Directory.

3. Find Your App Registration:

   • Click on App registrations.
   • Locate your application in the list (you can use the search bar if needed).

4. Open Your App Registration:

   • Click on the name of your application to open its settings.

   

5. Go to Certificates & Secrets:

   • In the left sidebar of your app registration page, click on Certificates & secrets.

   

1. Application Id is Client Id
2. Value is Client Secret
3. Regenerate the Client Secret:
   • Under the Client secrets section, click on New client secret.
   • In the dialog that appears, enter a description for the secret (e.g., "New Secret") and choose an expiration period (e.g., 6 months, 12 months, etc.).
   • Click Add.
4. Copy the New Secret:
   • Once the secret is created, it will be displayed only once. Copy the secret value immediately and store it securely (e.g., in a password manager).
   • You will not be able to view the secret value again after leaving the page.
5. Update Your Application Configuration:
   • Update your application’s configuration with the new client secret value. Ensure you're using the correct client secret value, not the client secret ID.
